    Danone Simpson is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Montage Insurance Solutions.  Danone has built an agency focused on employee benefit and property & casualty programs for the commercial and non-profit sectors. Under Danone’s leadership the firm has partnered with over 100 carriers in order to find the perfect insurance solutions for their clients. 


    Her company utilizes wellness campaigns, health fairs and safety initiatives to reduce premium and employee costs.  These programs have proven to be effective in retention and nurturing the health and safety of employees. These client events and services are unparalleled in the industry. 
     

    Montage delivers a portfolio of outstanding services with extreme attention to detail and care. Montage assists the Human Resources executive in promoting a positive and healthy culture in the workplace. She and her executive team create customized service plans to meet the goals and objectives of their clients.  
    Danone Simpson understands the challenges of the Human Resources Professional and has established My HR Summit™ and Leadership Series to educate HR Departments in the ever changing world of legal compliance and employee management.

    She is an active member of multiple insurance associations and has continuously served on the EMA/SMA board for over eight years and PIHRA District Nine Board for the last two years. 
    She is currently enrolled in the Executive MBA program at the Graziadio School of Business, Pepperdine University.

  • Mark Simpson

    Mark Simpson, Chief Operations Officer at Danone Simpson Insurance Services LLC DBA: Montage Insurance Solutions, brings over thirty years of experience in operations management. His last positions have been in the Motion Picture Entertainment Industry and the Financial Investment and Acquisition Industry. Before joining DSI, Mark was in charge of operations at Jackson Motion Picture Rentals for 3 years, in which he handled staffing, scheduling, inventory control and supervised employees. Before Jackson, he was the VP of Operations at Investors Capital Management Group in charge of acquisitions of business and real estate investments, in addition to overseeing Finance, IT, HR and Risk Management.

     

    For the majority of Mark’s career, he worked as the Director of Operations in the Property Department at Paramount Pictures. For 29 years, he oversaw productions, overhead budgets, staffing and inventory control for both Television and Feature Productions. He staffed all Key Production and Overhead Personnel in his division, which managed five additional production departments. He simultaneously managed the same division at CBS Studio Center Studios under a five year management agreement. In addition, Mark was in charge of all marketing and licensing agreements for the advertising on the New York Street at Paramount, strengthening company revenue from a previously untapped source of income. Mark brings his talent for the management of the many events and projects Montage puts on from enrollment meetings, to health fairs and our My HR and Executive Summits.

  • Susan Dubin

    Susan Dubin, Vice President of Finance and Human Resources, started out her career at KNBC, using her photography skills to help out her father, Johnny Carson’s Public Relations Manager, taking still photos of The Tonight Show. During the day, she started working part time at her brother’s burgeoning juice company, Naked Juice, while taking classes at Santa Monica College. The juice business took off, and Susan gave up her budding photography career to work at Naked Juice full time starting out as an administrative assistant, and working her way up to Accounts Receivable Supervisor. From there, Susan went to work for an aerospace manufacturing company, starting out as the Credit Manager, and after eight years, working her way up to the Director of Human Resources and Administration. It was there she first met Danone Simpson, who was her insurance broker at the time. After that company was sold, Susan moved on to a “Dot Com” company focusing on data research in the entertainment industry. Starting out as the Payroll Manager, Susan worked her way up to Vice President of Human Resources and Administration. Susan left that company after five years to start a family, and returned to the workforce in August 2006 at the start of Danone Simpson Insurance Services LLC DBA: Montage Insurance Solutions.


    With over 20 years of experience with companies, ranging from 10 to 450 employees, Susan brings a wealth of knowledge to Montage Insurance Solutions, such as Payroll & Benefits Administration, Employee Relations, Finance & Accounting, and Office Management. Susan is an active member of PIHRA, SHRM, SMA, and the California Chamber of Commerce, and spends her free time with her family.

  • Toby Kennedy

    Tobias Kennedy, Vice President of Account Sales and Services at Danone Simpson Insurance Services DBA Montage Insurance Solutions graduated from LMU with a degree in Political Science.  Since his arrival at Montage in early 2007, he has become a trusted advisor to clients ranging from Religious Non Profits to Credit Unions, from Charter School Associations to Commercial Real Estate Developers and more.  His broad base of knowledge and experience coupled with his fanatical dedication to rapid response time has seen him become a close friend and trusted partner to clients in Employee Benefits, Workers’ Compensation and various Commercial Insurance lines.  In his capacity as Vice President of Account Sales and Service, he has given many seminars to organizations such as LANSA and in-house at Montage, many consultations to boards of directors and Executive Teams, helping explain the complexities of Health Care Reform in all of its phases.  Tobias sits on the board of directors of SMA: The Staffing Management Association (a division of SHRM), has been trained in underwriting principles at Blue Shield headquarters in San Francisco and enjoys bringing a refreshing enthusiasm to every encounter.
